A Journey Rooted in Tradition
Twenty-five years ago, SK Subramanian started “Sukrutham”, by deciding to turn his passion for cooking into a celebration of flavours of Kerala wedding sadya. He crafts every moment just for your guests, perfecting the art of preparing traditional recipes like Kerala Sadya and Palada Payasam and mastering cooking through continuous practice and passion. His dream was to preserve the delightful tastes of wedding sadya and refine the food culture. Impacting the destiny of Kerala cuisine through his sincere, dedicated, and eminently successful efforts to bring the culinary journey, he has a solid footing in tradition.

Started as a modest catering venture and over the years, grew as the best catering services in Kochi, “Sukrutham” operates by serving south and north Indian dishes and prepares 200 or more vegetarian dishes for all occasions.
We find meaning in what we serve, and making sure every dish, every bite, adds to the joy of the occasion. We provide vegetarian wedding catering and look at this as an opportunity to connect with people and to celebrate something special. We prepare dishes to express love, gratitude, and even nostalgia.
Sukrutham pays attention to finer details, like the ela sadya aromas, the ingredients and makes sure every detail evokes the mind, as the right feast makes people warm, and joyful. Sukrutham: A Name with a Purpose”
Our name is “Sukrutham”, which is formed from the first letters of my name, son’s name, and daughter’s name and in Sanskrit and Malayalam it, means “a good deed”. We have been delivering Kerala wedding Sadya since 1993 as a pledge in terms of values and quality. As Sukrutham is family-owned, we take ideas from them, to improve the quality of wedding catering.

We become more focused when the event is attended by a lot of guests. Serving the most guests gives us greater confidence. We are open to catering temple fests, marriages, or corporate events. We touched a major milestone in serving more than 15,000 guests at the Pallimukku Church, and it’s a testament to undertaking large-scale gatherings without compromising on quality. We also had the honor of providing catering services at ISRO conferences.
Throughout the 12-day event at Ernakulathappan Temple, we served a large number of devotees, touching the high quality that gathered a good name for us. Our main kitchen is in Kadavanthara, where most of our dishes are prepared, with support from our Valanjambalam and Kakkanad outlets for easy transport of dishes to the venue. Having three Sukrutham locations helps us be ready to take up events of any scale.
